The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education that conducts the Andhra Pradesh Engineering agriculture and medical Common entrance exam (AP EAMCET) will release the application form at its official website in March 2025. The examination body will release a notification in February 2025.

The admission is conducted for admission into various undergraduate courses of Engineering, Pharmacy, and Agriculture in the universities of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who passed 10+2 or equivalent exams are allowed to submit their application.

Who are Eligible for AP EAMCET 2025 Registration?

To be eligible for AP EAMCET 2025, candidates must have passed or be appearing for their 10+2 with required subjects like Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, and meet age and domicile criteria. Get detailed breakdown of eligibility here:

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed or be appearing for the final year of their 10+2 (Intermediate) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • For Engineering and Pharmacy streams, mandatory subjects include Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
  • For Agriculture and related streams, relevant subject requirements involving biological sciences are necessary.

Nationality and Domicile

  • Candidates must be Indian nationals or hold PIO/OCI status.
  • Candidates must meet the local/non-local status requirements as per the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order of 1974, as amended.

Age Limit

  • For Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates must have completed 16 years of age as of December 31, 2025. There is generally no upper age limit for these courses.
  • For some of the Agricultural courses, Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2025. Also there are upper age limits for some of those courses.

Minimum Marks

  • Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate score in all subjects combined. For candidates belonging to the reserved category AP EAPCET 1 marks required is 40%.

Ans: If the Candidate is a person of Indian origin he can apply for the exam. And if this is not the scenario then the candidate must be an Overseas citizen of India.

Ans: No, candidates from CEC stream are not eligible to register for AP EAMCET.  A candidate must pass the 10+2 examination for appearing in AP EAMCET.

Ans: Candidate must be a resident of the state of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. Either this the candidate can not register for AP EAMCET exam 2025.
